Em He (M. H.) is a self-taught illustrator from China and is currently based in Macau. Though trained to be an educator, Em has strong interest in visual arts since childhood. She had created journalistic photography works and designed posters for college activities in her student era.

      Em decided to pick up the interest in visual arts since childhood again when she started to draw down the memory of her cat. Her current illustrations are animal-themed and most subjects are humanoid cats as she hopes to call for the public attention to animal care and protection in everyday life, as well as rethinking the relationship between humans and animals.
